Sunshine Law Presentation |

Tom Durkin, Public Education Director for the Office of Attorney General, gave a public presentation at Taney County Ambulance Education Center regarding compliance with the Sunshine Law. The law sets out guidelines for ensuring public access to meetings and proceedings of governmental bodies. The presentation was one of several Durkin has offered throughout the state to a variety of organizations.
Durkin emphasized a statement from the Attorney General. "One of the top priorities of this Attorney General's Office is expanding the availability of Sunshine Law educational seminars to local government entities across Missouri. Explaining this complex and nuanced law helps achieve transparency at every level of local and state government. Transparency promotes better government."
