| Taney County Ambulance District Special Board Meeting Friday, May 28, 2010 Hollister, MO Chairman Steve Dalton called the meeting of the Taney County Ambulance District to order at 15:00 on May 28, 2010. Attendance: Chairman Steve Dalton, Vice Chairman Tim Ford, Treasurer Dale Sanders, Board Member Scott Novak, Board Member Rod Romine. Board Member Kenny Nave absent. Others present Kevin Tweedy and Matt Trokey. MOTION – EXECUTIVE SESSION Director Scott Novak moved to go to executive session to discuss personnel matters authorized by R.S.Mo. 610.021, Subsection 3, and in compliance with R.S.Mo 610.022. Director Tim Ford seconded the motion. The motion passed by roll call vote: Novak, yes; Ford, yes; Dalton, yes; Sanders, yes; Romine, yes. Attorney Matt Trokey joined the executive session. MOTION - RECONVENE Director Novak made a motion to close executive session and reconvene in open session. Director Ford seconded the motion. The motion passed by roll call vote: Romine, yes; Sanders, yes; Dalton, yes; Ford, yes; Novak, yes. MOTION - APPROVAL OF AGENDA Director Romine moved to approve the agenda. Said motion was seconded by Director Novak. Agenda was approved unanimously. OLD BUSINESS The board announced the hiring of Darryl Coontz as Executive Administrator. A discussion was had regarding BKD being retained for temporary accounting services to be reviewed periodically. NEW BUSINESS A discussion was had regarding the Sunshine Law Policy of the District. The Board of Directors directed council to review the policy and present proposed revisions at the next board meeting. MOTION – ADJOURN Director Rod Romine made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Director Novak seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. |
