This page contains the progress we at the TCAD office have been making on our mobile multi-agency command center (MMACC). Each image thumbnail can be clicked to produce a very detailed - and large for those of you on slow connections! - image for viewing.

Group 1
Here in this first group of pictures we have some beginnings made in the command bus. The light bars have been installed and some of the conduit. We also have some of the equipment in there to get a feel for spacing such as the rackmount cabinet.
Group 2
In this group of pictures, the lettering on the outside of the bus has been completed, and we have begun the flooring.
Group 3
Here we begin to partition the bus into three rooms.
Group 4
The partitions now have walls mostly done at this point. The top two pictures are the front room/operations center. The next picture (bottom-left) is the middle room which stores our rack-mount cabinet, which is behind the doors on the right of the hallway and functions as a pseudo-galley--microwave, etc. On the bottom right is our conference room in the back of the bus. You are looking at the outlets that are over the top of a future table at which conference-attenders may plug in equiment for presentations, cell phones, etc.
Group 5
Cabinets are going in! The first picture is the front room (looking the opposite direction as the first picture in group 4). Looks like it's time to clean the door! The second picture is the middle galley area.
Group 6
Here we have the MMACC at the Meet the Voices of 911 event 4/30/05. The first row is the front room (comm. center) and the middle room (pseudo-galley) respectively. The second row begins with the back (conference) room. Following are some candids.
